When Kimball Communications needed writing support, Kelly started to interview doctors and write articles for Lehigh Valley Hospital's Healthy You magazine and advertorials for Physician Practice magazine. Kimball offers media relations, publicity, crisis management and communication planning services.

Lehigh County Authority (LCA) is as a municipal agency focused on providing high quality water and wastewater services to western Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. Kelly researched LCA's archives to write content for their 40th anniversary annual report.

Kelly's article "Waves of Hope: Teaching the Trager Approach in Post-tsunami Sri Lanka" appears in the Winter 2007 issue of massage therapy journal (mtj), the official publication of the American Massage Therapy Association. Kelly traveled with fellow yoga teacher and Trager practitioner Michael Lear to Southeast Sri Lanka to chronicle his volunteer work at a rehabilitation hospital there.
